It’s Time for Change – School Networks to Enhance Individual Learning Processes

Differences in children’s character, behaviour and learning abilities are challenges for all teachers, and are often seen as disruptive factors. As a result, the number of children who have to re-do a school year is growing. According to the International Comparative Studies, in no other country do social differences play such important role for a successful education as they do in Germany. How is it possible to develop a culture of learning, where the strengths and weaknesses of each child are challenged and fostered at the same time?

In order to achieve this, the programme works with school partnerships. An experienced school works in regional networks with maximum of three “project schools” that are looking to re-define their teaching methods. Each network is accompanied by a school consultant.
